Year 1 – Software
They say that in business, the beginning is the hardest. What is not said is that almost every day is a new beginning. Only then can you be a serious competitor, offering your customers what they want and something extra: passion.
I used the first year to understand exactly what the market needs were. I gathered results and looked for utility even in answers like: "Why would I send emails with you when we have Outlook too?"We did everything so that in 2004 we could take a step forward, give up the software we started with and offer our clients one created and developed by us.
After about 1 year of operational development, the software was online and brought to Romania functionalities that would only be taken over later by otherwise formidable competitors. What new did we offer to our clients? An application in which they had almost total control, were in constant contact with the results of their own campaigns and, perhaps most importantly, which tried to understand their needs, in order to upgrade us to their level.
In parallel, we are publishing two studies on the Romanian market: "Email usage habits in Romania" and "Analysis of email communication of Romanian companies". The goal? To increase trust in the communication channel we propose and to demonstrate that it can deliver almost incredible results.
The White Image portfolio is growing slowly, slowly and so the discussions with potential clients are changing. We can put concrete situations on the table, and they start to become more receptive to what we had to offer. So if in the first year we promoted the email area, but the activity was dictated by what the client wanted, the first projects were design and implementation of websites, then slowly but surely the balance changed, and email gained ground.
