| Culinary delights… Consumer marketing!

We’ve
just finished the functional level of the
Nextep program with a course that many of
the participants considered to be highly important:
Marketing as the Responsibility of Every Manager.
Due to the fact that marketing is the most
visible aspect of any business, it was very
interesting to see what goes on in the kitchenry
of a company… Gabi was our guide, teaching
us about the nuts and bolts of choosing the
best ingredients in order to create an iresistible
dish for consumers!
Together with Gabi we understood what the
most important ingredients of the marketing
mix are, ingredients that delight our eyes
(through commercials), ears (through radio
spots) and all our other senses. For the first
time we managed to go behind the scenes, and
watch how a chef-cuisiner blends company resources
in order to satisfy customers and generate
profit.
We practiced the inherent responsibilities of marketing and we also simulated the decision-making process made by a product manager. We asked questions and received answers based on market knowledge and practice. We understood how product, price, placement and promotion strategies are built. In short, we know how to prepare an entire menu of Consumer marketing culinary delights in a way that makes them happy with what they got and brings them back again and again!
