Slowly but surely Nextep is approaching the end of its first level - Management and Leadership. At the end of March the work was very intense, theories and practical experiences, in order to change our perspectives regarding communication and enhance our abilities in this area.
We decided together that when we say communication, many times we see the message as a "package" that needs to be delivered. The consequence being... that we take that package and simply give it to the person that has to receive it. Sometimes we call a "courier" and we’re not even there when the "package" is being delivered. Well, the change in paradigm was determined by our two-day work based on a different understanding of communication, closer to its Latin meaning, and the efficiency of the process itself: communication as a common understanding, shared by all those concerned.
We close with an "exercise in communication": if you would like others to understand what the Nextep experience means to you, what would you tell them?
