It’s not too late to sign up! This will be a truly life changing experience for all those involved. To build side by side with a father, who has dreamed of giving his child a house with electricity so he can learn how to read, brings an unparalleled satisfaction to the soul. Not only that, your company, diplomatic mission or faith based organization can benefit too.

c) VIPs
As a public figure, you have the special ability to capture the attention of large numbers of people. It is perhaps your special duty to show those who look up to you what it means to care for another human being. Join other Ambassadors, Sports Heroes, Politicians and Public Figures in supporting Habitat in its drive to end poverty housing in Romania. The EU’s Ambassador to Romania, Donato Chiarini, and Romania’s Minister of Development, Public Works and Housing, Laszlo Borbely, have both given their full support.
Several multi-national corporations such as Vodafone and Lafarge are not only donating money but are also sending enough volunteers to build a few houses. The story of our event has already been broadcasted by Antena 1, TVR, TVR 2, and RETV, and we are expecting much more media coverage for the event itself. Your presence will help spread the word about the good work Habitat Romania does and raise public and political awareness about the plight of those living in destitute condition. Become actively involved; click here for the application form.
Alternatively, you may contact Zamfir Todor at +40 724 292 541 or at zamfir.todor@habitat.ro.

Antena 1, TVR, TVR2 and Realitatea TV have all used the Habitat story in their nightly news, carry a message of love and care to millions of viewers. As both the largest volunteer event in Europe this year and the largest build of it’s kind in Romania, the event has drawn the attention of Politicians, Ambassadors, Sports Heroes, Mayors and Celebrities both here in Romania and Internationally. If you or your media organization would like to become involved, or would like to know more about the event, please contact Zamfir Todor at +40 724 292 541 or at zamfir.todor@habitat.ro.
